Biography:

Rodrigo’s qualifications include a Bachelor’s of Music as a cellist from the London College of Music (1996), the certification as an Alexander Technique teacher (1999), and certification as a Non-Violent Communication trainer (2022). He has frequently travelled abroad to countries such as the UK, Germany, and the USA to take specialist courses and participate in congresses. He has taken courses on applying the Alexander Technique to music, acting, dance, the voice, pregnancy and birth, swimming, athletics, and more.

He has led courses and conferences in institutions such as the Sistema Nacional de Fomento Musical, the Faculty of Music at the UNAM, Conservatorio Nacional de Música, Escuela Superior de Música, Centro Nacional de las Artes, Artistic Groups of the INBAL, the Symphony Orchestra of the Universidad de Guanajuato, the Symphony Orchestra of Michoacán, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Boca del Río, Academia de Música Fermatta, Sociedad Internacional de Valores de Arte Mexicano (SIVAM), CEUVOZ, and Guitar Craft, among others. Internationally he has also given workshops in England, Switzerland, Germany and Venezuela.

Together with his wife Madeleine Sierra, Rodrigo created the project Libresencia, directed towards people who want to feel free to be themselves (without fear, without shame and without conflict), whether in everyday life or on stage.
