Claribel Bastida


Biography:
Claribel is a professional flutist and a certified Alexander Technique teacher.
She concluded her music studies at the Escuela Superior de Música (2016) in Mexico City.
Claribel has performed as a soloist in Mexico’s most prestigious concert halls.
She is a founding member of the Akatonali wood quintet, and together they regularly perform in many local and international chamber music festivals.
As an Alexander teacher, Claribel has taught AT workshops for musicians at prominent institutions such as Escuela Superior de Música (INBAL), UVA de Tlatelolco (UNAM) and Alexander Center.
In 2021, Claribel gave a presentation during the Breathing and Alexander Technique week at the first Iberoamerican Alexander Technique congress hosted by the Mexican Association of Alexander Technique Teachers (APTAM).
She has been an active member of APTAM since 2019.
